Helen Lloyd has always had a passion for travel and adventure. She held down a real job as an Engineer for a while, but since she set off on her bike ride through Africa, life has been non-stop since.
Besides cycling, she enjoys anything outdoors and has a penchant for photography.
She has also cycled through North and Central America, and packrafted in Nicaragua.
On her latest journey across Asia, she took the Trans-Siberian train, cycled across Mongolia, the Pamir Highway and via the Silk Road cities Central Asia. In Krygyzstan she bought a horse and spent one month exploring the country at a slower pace.
Her latest book is about a three-month cycle ride across Siberia in the depth of winter.
Now she is riding a motorbike across Europe.
